26 February 2021 – The second conference of ICPerMed “Personalised Medicine – From Vision to Practice” assembled virtually around 500 viewers from 57 countries. The conference was hosted by the French National Research Agency (ANR) on February 25-26, 2021 and presented solutions and strategies on how to successfully implement personalised medicine approaches.

ICPerMed Conference 'From Vision to Practice' – Registration open

23 March 2020 – The registration for the second conference of the International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) 'Personalised Medicine – From Vision to Practice' is now open. The conference will take place in Paris, France, at La Maison de la Chimie on October 15-16, 2020, and will demonstrate how personalised medicine will lead to the next generation of healthcare by 2030.

12 November 2019 – The second workshop 'Personalised Medicine for All Citizens and Patients within Sustainable Implementation' of the International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) assembled around 150 experts from 31 countries in Madrid, Spain.

ICPerMed Vision Paper
:
25 September 2019 – ICPerMed published a "Vision Paper" on how the use of personalised medicine approaches will promote "next-generation" medicine in 2030. The vision entails that medicine needs to become more firmly centred on the individual’s personal characteristics and at the same time be more effective and have an economic value. Next-generation medicine should also provide equitable access for all citizens to the best possible healthcare in the future.

ICPerMed Conference shows Progression of PM

21 November 2018 – The first conference ‘Personalised Medicine in Action’ of the International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) assembled around 300 experts from 32 countries in Berlin, Germany. Around 500 viewers followed the online livestream of the conference. The conference took place from 20 to 21 November and presented best practice examples for successful implementations of personalised medicine approaches in Europe and beyond.

ICPerMed Mapping Database & State of the Art Report 2017

19 June 2018 – The International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) launched the ICPerMed mapping database on funding for research in personalised medicine, and published its first “State of the Art Report 2017”.

Statement concerning the 1 Million Genomes Declaration

18 May 2018 – On 10 April 2018 13 Member States signed a declaration, initiated by the European Commission, to establish access to 1 Million Genomes in the EU by 2022. ICPerMed has followed with interest the process of developing the declaration. Recognising the great potential of personalised medicine to improve the prevention and diagnosis of disease and the treatment of patients, ICPerMed aims to coordinate and foster research to develop and evaluate personalised medicine approaches.

19 January 2018 – The International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) announced today the publication of their first "Best Practice in Personalised Medicine" Award 2018. The objective of this award is to encourage and disseminate best practice examples in personalised medicine.

14 December 2017 – The International Consortium for Personalised Medicine, ICPerMed, announced today the publication of their first workshop report. The workshop entitled “Innovative Concepts on Data Generation and Use for Personalised Medicine Research” had taken place on June 26-27th in Milan (Italy).

ICPerMed Action Plan for Personalised Medicine published

22 March 2017 – The International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) identifies future research needs in a common Action Plan. The aim of ICPerMed is to boost personalised medicine by an enhanced coordination and alignment of research activities. Over the past year, the members of ICPerMed have developed a common Action Plan with central research and research-supporting activities in all areas relevant to personalised medicine.

Brussels, 24 November 2016 – Personalised medicine is a promising new concept for dealing with challenges of health and health systems.
