Petalidis, Director for Partnerships at Digital Health Solutions, the Digital and AI arm of M42 Health, Abu Dhabi, will present the work and successes of M42.

Established in 2023, following the coming together of G42 Healthcare and Mubadala Health, M42 has more than 480 facilities in 27 countries and over 20,000 employees. M42 includes renowned healthcare providers including Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Danat Al Emarat, Diaverum, Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, and Moorfields Eye Hospital Abu Dhabi. Dr. Lawrence P. Petalidis
Trained as a biochemist and neurobiologist, Lawrence was awarded the Gwyneth Pretty endowed scholarship for this PhD from Cambridge University researching molecular oncology and the application of early artificial neuron networks on human brain tumour transcriptomics and biomarker discovery.
Over the last 21 years Lawrence has moved from biomedical research to commercial, innovation, strategy, business and strategic partnership roles across universities, two NGOs, four startup accelerators, startups, government and multinational companies. Whilst in London he led the setup of what is widely considered as one of the most successful NHS innovation programmes and was also is a founding member of the digital health.London accelerator.
Previously advisor for innovation and research for the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, Lawrence specialises in cross-disciplinary opportunity development, strategy and execution. His work in the UAE over the last 5 years has mainly focused on transformative B2G programmes including the Abu Dhabi Biobank, a global first deployment of liquid biopsy screening, genomics and digital health. He is currently Director for Partnerships and Alliances at Digital Health Solutions, the Digital and AI arm of M42 Health, Abu Dhabi. Lawrence is a grant assessor for the South African Medical Research Council and a WHO foresight expert working group member.
