ICPerMed “Best Practice in Personalised Medicine” Award
19 January 2018 – The International Consortium for Personalised Medicine (ICPerMed) announced today the publication of their first “Best Practice in Personalised Medicine” Award 2018. The objective of this award is to encourage and disseminate best practice examples in personalised medicine.

Pre-announcement of ERA PerMed JTC2018
ERA PerMed will launch in February 2018 the first Joint Transnational Call for Proposals to support translational research projects in the field of Personalised Medicine and to encourage and enable interdisciplinarity, in combining pre-clinical and/or clinical research with bio-informatics components.

ICPerMed Workshop Report published
14 December 2017 – The International Consortium for Personalised Medicine, ICPerMed, announced today the publication of their first workshop report. The workshop entitled “Innovative Concepts on Data Generation and Use for Personalised Medicine Research” had taken place on June 26-27th in Milan (Italy).

ICPerMed Executive Committee Meeting in Lisbon
In October 2017, the ICPerMed Executive Committee met in Lisbon, Portugal to discuss and plan strategy and future activities of the consortium. The meeting was hosted by the Portuguese partners, INSA and FCT.

Partnering Tool for Personalised Medicine launched
3 November 2017 – Recently the ICPerMed Partnering Tool for personalised medicine research has been launched. The ICPerMed Partnering Tool facilitates networking among universities, research and patient organizations, SMEs, industry and all other stakeholders interested in personalised medicine research.

EC Video on Personalised Medicine Projects
3 November 2017 – The ‘Innovative and Personalised Medicine Unit’ of the European Commission (EC) DG RTD Directorate E-Health has published a video on ‘How co-operation paves the way for personalised medicine’. Several examplary successful projects funded by the EC under its framework programmes for research and innovation are presented.

On June 15th, Dr. Ulrike Bußhoff, coordinator of ICPerMed Secretariat, represented ICPerMed at the EU-LAC Health Final Conference in Madrid, Spain.

ICPerMed@Workshop EU regions in PM
On May 4-5, Mairéad O’Driscoll and Wolfgang Ballensiefen as chairs represented ICPerMed at the workshop “The contribution of EU regions to Research and Innovation for Personalised Medicine” that was organized by the European Commission in Brussels.

Executive Committee Meeting
In April 2017, the ICPerMed Executive Committee met in the building of Innovation Fund Denmark in Copenhagen to discuss the future strategy and work programme of ICPerMed.
